In non-peak seasons you will perform general production work and coordinate with the Group Leader. Strong communication and FPS training are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Fleetwood Performance System training or equivalent development completed.
• Must meet minimum requirements of the jobs in the department.
• Demonstrated initiative to lead others for improved performance.
• Ability to perform all jobs in zone and adjacent zones within takt time and standardized work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage and encourage team members in improvement initiatives.
• Document hour x hour, standardized work, and problem-solving.
• Promote safety and 5S housekeeping.
• Ensure measurable improvements to goals.
• Facilitate quick response to problems.
• Perform general production work in non-peak seasons.
• Maintain daily communication with Group Leader and team members.
• Collaborate with other shifts and Team Leaders.
• Lead kaizen activities and job instruction (JI) training.
• Apply FPS tools and philosophies (standardized work, true north, etc.).
