Job summary

TAC Manufacturing, Inc. in Jackson, MI is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to oversee production, inspect quality, and coordinate machine setup and adjustments. You will study schedules and assign duties to meet timelines, while locating opportunities to improve methods and efficiency.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and 5+ years manufacturing experience with 2+ years in supervision; assembly experience is preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
• 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in Assembly is preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs machine setup and adjustments.
• Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
• Interprets specifications and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
• Maintains time and production records.
• Must be flexible to work split shifts or opposite shift throughout the year.
