Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Senior Assembly Associate to join the 1st shift production team. The role involves assembling products on the manufacturing line, ensuring quality and safety standards, and training teammates.

You will monitor line operations, maintain records, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work overtime, and thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience, preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand entire shift.
• Ability to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Fast-paced warehouse environment experience with performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily assembly production records and data entry.
• Ensure efficient line workflow, staffing, setup and changeovers.
• Operate machinery to install components along the line.
• Monitor safety and compliance for individuals and team.
• Escalate issues to supervisors for resolution.
• Train and onboard new team members using safety guidelines.
• Delegate tasks and drive work to completion with accountability.
• Communicate daily targets and responsibilities to the team.
• Support assembly expertise and address team questions.
• Model high performance and reinforce procedures.
