Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Assembly Associate in East Hartford. This 1st shift role (Mon-Fri, 7:00AM-3:30PM or until work is completed) supports production line assembly, quality, and safety initiatives on the manufacturing floor.

The Senior Assembly Associate acts as Team Captain, ensuring the line meets production, safety, and quality requirements, monitors line performance, and trains team members while driving continuous improvement and adherence to QRA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Overtime with little or no advance notice may be required.
• Fast-paced warehouse environment experience beneficial.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily assembly production records and data entry.
• Ensure efficient line workflow including staffing, setup, and changeovers.
• Operate machinery to install components along the line.
• Enforce safety and compliance standards for individuals and team.
• Escalate safety, compliance, or operational issues to supervisors.
• Train and onboard new team members using standardized processes.
