Job summary

GCC in Concord, NC seeks skilled Assembly Mechanics to join our ESOP-owned team. You will assemble, test, and service hydraulic, pneumatic and electro-mechanical components, reading drawings and maintaining quality records.

You will work across pneumatic, hydraulic, hose, power unit, strut and panel shops, perform basic welding and fabrication, follow safety protocols, and support continuous improvement under ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• Three to five years in a manufacturing environment.
• Welding and spray booth painting experience preferred.
• Experience in ISO 9001 environment is a plus.
• Forklift license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test and service hydraulic, pneumatic, electro-mechanical or electrical components.
• Read engineering drawings, BOMs and specifications.
• Manage workflow to meet customer dates and maintain records.
• Perform basic welding, torch work, grinding and painting.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and asset security.
• Fabricate/install high‑pressure tubing with standard fittings.
• Support ISO 9001 continual improvement program.
