Job summary

Hyliion is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design of KARNO assembly lines, fixtures, and material flow to enable scalable production. You will own line layouts, tooling, and process qualification while reducing waste and labor content across assembly areas.

The role requires deep manufacturing engineering expertise, leadership, and experience transitioning prototypes to production at scale. Occasional on-site collaboration across facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with 10+ years in manufacturing engineering.
• Experience taking prototype and low-volume builds into repeatable production.

Responsibilities

• Design assembly lines, fixtures, and material flow systems for KARNO products.
• Lead design reviews and mentor engineers and technicians.
• Develop and qualify processes for engine, generator, and electric machine assembly.
• Drive waste reduction and cycle-time improvements across assembly areas.
