Job summary

General Plastics & Composites LP is seeking a Sr. Lead – Assembly to drive daily production execution across Flow and Flex lines while ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

This role links operations with leadership and guides frontline teams through problem-solving and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years in manufacturing with 1–3+ years in a supervisory role, strong scheduling and team leadership capabilities, and a track record of improving throughput

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 1–3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising teams and coordinating cross-functional activities.
• Strong background in production scheduling, material handling, and inventory control.
• Experience operating manufacturing and specialty equipment.
• Experience analyzing production data and implementing process improvements.
• Background in quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own daily execution of the production schedule to meet output and delivery targets.
• Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to maximize throughput and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement immediate corrective actions.
• Support equipment setup, changeovers, and uptime performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to meet performance expectations.
• Hold employees accountable to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Support performance management, including evaluations and timecard approvals.
• Reinforce a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to all quality standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Drive immediate resolution of quality issues to minimize scrap and rework.
• Enforce safety standards and actively support HSEQ initiatives.
• Own and reinforce Brief/Debrief & WorkSafe Card engagement.
• Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and performance gaps.
• Maintain clear communication with leadership and cross-functional teams.
