Job summary

Newell Brands seeks a Plastics Lead for Assembly to oversee 2nd shift plastics production, troubleshoot equipment, and drive quality and safety standards. You will guide technicians, manage daily work, and coordinate with maintenance and supervision to meet output targets.

Strong attention to detail and basic English reading skills are required; prior lead or supervisory experience is a plus. This is an onsite, full-time role within the Supply Chain team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6 months to 1 year of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plastics assembly operations and troubleshoot equipment to maintain workflow.
• Ensure safety, quality and housekeeping standards are followed at all times.
• Plan and assign work, train and develop team members.
• Monitor parts availability, initiate requisitions and document daily activity.
• Support continuous improvement and production scheduling.
