Job summary

BMC Software, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Developer (Mainframe) to design, develop, and enhance the AMI DevX Code Pipeline. You will work with C, C++, and HLASM to deliver robust mainframe solutions in a fully remote role across the United States or Canada.

You will mentor teammates, stay current with z/OS internals, JES2, CLIST/JCL, and ISPF, and partner with global clients on complex product issues. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience with z/OS Environment including internals.
• 8-10 years of IBM coding and development with C, C++, and HLASM.
• Experience with JES2, JCL, ISPF, TSO/ISPF, Db2, VSAM.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and delivery of Code Pipeline and related product lines.
• Design, code, and fix bugs; conduct design reviews.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mainframe environments and related technologies.
• Collaborate with global clients on complex product issues/escalations.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to the development team.
