Job summary
Dematic is seeking a Senior Solution Design Controls Engineer to develop modernization and lifecycle solutions for ASRS. You will define controls concepts, hardware/software interfaces, and cost estimates, coordinating with mechanical, software, and external partners on standalone or integrated projects.
Travel up to 20% within the United States. You will bring a bachelor's in engineering and 9+ years of controls experience, with strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and Rockwell or Siemens
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- 9+ years in controls engineering or related disciplines.
- Experience with ASRS controls and lifecycle upgrades.
- Experience with estimating and project scope definitions.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate installed ASRS systems and define modernization needs.
- Develop controls concepts, hardware/software interfaces, and requirements.
- Coordinate with mechanical, software, and external partners to deliver solutions.
- Own estimates, BOM, schedule, and exclusions for controls projects.
- Provide post-award handoff and transfer knowledge to execution teams.
- Travel up to 20% to Dematic locations within the United States.
