Job summary

Dematic seeks a Senior Solution Design Controls Engineer to develop modernization and lifecycle solutions for ASRS. You will define controls concepts, hardware/software interfaces, and BOMs for SRMs, Dematic Multishuttle, AutoStore, and WCS/WES integrations.

Travel up to 20% across the United States is required. In this role you will lead cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, software, and execution teams, own the control solution from definition to handoff, and mentor teammates on

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or related field.
9+ years of controls engineering, material handling, or related experience.
Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, drives, and industrial networks with Rockwell or Siemens.
Ability to translate complex controls issues into clear requirements.

Responsibilities

Evaluate ASRS installations to identify modernization needs and opportunities for safety and efficiency.
Develop controls modernization concepts and define hardware/software interfaces and BOMs.
Coordinate with mechanical and software teams to deliver integrated controls solutions.
Own control solution definitions, estimates, schedules, and handoffs to execution teams.
Travel up to 20% to customer sites in the United States.
