Job summary

AA Asphalting, LLC is seeking a dedicated supervisor to oversee field crews, manage daily schedules, and ensure work orders align with project specifications. You will coordinate resources, inspect progress, and uphold safety standards on site in the Vancouver area.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to train and mentor crew members while collaborating with inspectors and customers to meet contract requirements.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of construction operations, equipment and safety guidelines.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong leadership and management skills, ability to effectively work in a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Aptitude in math.

Responsibilities

• Reviews the schedule and corresponding work orders.
• Directs foremen on job requirements providing detailed information regarding the scope of work.
• Previews jobs in advance.
• Ensures proper equipment, tools, materials, trucking, and adequate manpower are available at specified times, to meet work schedules.
• Communicates with purchasing when special orders are needed to complete a job.
• Oversees training of crews.
• Ensures all crew members are able to perform their job duties to specifications and in a safe manner.
• Maintains and promotes Company's philosophy and core values of Respect, Trust, and Create.
