Job summary

AA Asphalting, LLC in Vancouver, WA, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Vancouver branch, drive profitable revenue growth, and strengthen operational execution. This hands-on leader will build a high-performing team, establish standards, and take ownership of results across multiple projects while expanding into the Portland market.

You will oversee scheduling, safety, budgeting, and customer relationships, ensuring projects meet quality, safety, and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Experience growing or turning around a construction/field services operation.
• Proven ability to manage branch or regional performance with revenue and margin focus.
• Strong leadership and talent development skills.
• Solid understanding of construction operations and safety guidelines.
• Ability to read financial reports and operating metrics.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Owns overall branch performance and financial results, including revenue growth and cash flow discipline.
• Drives schedule accuracy and on-time execution across operations.
• Leads production by optimizing resources and controlling costs while maintaining safety and quality.
• Reviews project plans and coordinates site activities before work begins.
• Conducts regular site visits to assess progress and quality.
• Sets project expectations and provides direction to field teams.
• Ensures contract requirements, cost, schedule, quality and customer satisfaction are met.
• Oversees job tracking and billing coordination with finance.
• Maintains strong customer relationships and pursues new business opportunities.
