Job summary

Cox Paving LLC is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman to lead a crew on municipal and commercial asphalt projects. You will plan daily work, supervise field staff, and coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to meet schedules and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, knowledge of paving equipment, safety compliance, and the ability to read blueprints. CDL preferred but not required; willingness to work outdoors in various weather and extended hours.

Qualifications

3–5 years of asphalt paving experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of asphalt paving equipment and techniques.
Ability to read plans, grades, and job specs.
Knowledge of OSHA and company safety standards.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and extended hours.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily paving crew operations on municipal and commercial projects.
Conduct pre-pave safety briefings and enforce safety policies.
Plan and coordinate daily activities, materials, and equipment to meet specs and deadlines.
Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and job specifications.
Track crew hours and equipment usage; support payroll and reporting.
