Job summary

Blythe Construction is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman to provide on-site leadership for asphalt paving projects, including highways, streets, parking lots, and runways. You will supervise crews, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project specifications in all weather conditions.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of paving supervision, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of asphalt paving supervision experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• DOT experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and work in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction, training and assistance to an asphalt crew.
• Tours job sites to ensure progress and efficiency.
• Measures slope and thickness to verify contract compliance.
• Communicates daily with Project Manager or Superintendent on schedule and needs.
• Recommends improvements to methods, equipment, and crew performance.
• Maintains time and materials records for daily job costing.
• Upholds company policies.
• Ensures crew and public safety on site.
