Job summary

FABR GLOBAL is seeking a Construction Manager – Asphalt Paving to lead high-volume asphalt operations in Northern Virginia. You will supervise multiple crews across major contracts, coordinating with internal plants and trucking to optimize production and keep projects on schedule.

The role requires a strong background in heavy paving, P&L accountability, and adherence to VDOT specifications, with a focus on safety and efficiency in urban corridors and night operations.

Qualifications

• Experience advancing through field engineering, PM or general superintendent ranks.
• Proven ability managing multi-crew paving in urban/multi-site environments.
• Strong knowledge of VDOT specs and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple paving/milling crews across NOVA contracts.
• Coordinate plant-to-paver logistics to maximize tons per shift.
• Oversee night shifts and MOT closures with safe, on-time reopenings.
• Drive P&L ownership and cost-tracking for projects.
• Enforce VDOT specs, density targets, and rideability incentives.
• Foster a zero-incident safety culture on fast-moving sites.
