Job summary

Boutique Recruiting seeks an Asphalt Estimator / Project Manager to drive new business and oversee projects in the Sacramento region. This role blends estimating, sales, client management, and end-to-end project oversight, with field and office work split roughly 75%/25%.

The candidate should bring a strong Sacramento book of business, proven estimating and PM experience, and the ability to generate $1.5M–$3M in annual sales. Salary range reflects DOE and market rates.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of asphalt, concrete, or paving estimating, sales, or project management experience.
• Established Sacramento-area book of business and client relationships.
• Proven ability to develop new business and meet sales goals.
• Experience estimating and managing asphalt, paving, or concrete projects.
• Strong understanding of project costs, scheduling, change orders, margins, and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business throughout Sacramento and surrounding counties.
• Leverage an established network to build a pipeline of paving and concrete opportunities.
• Meet with customers, visit sites, and evaluate project requirements.
• Prepare accurate estimates, bids, proposals, scopes of work, and pricing.
• Manage paving and concrete projects from opportunity through completion.
• Coordinate schedules with field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers.
• Monitor project costs, gross margins, budgets, and change orders.
• Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality expectations.
• Maintain long-term relationships with commercial, industrial, municipal, HOA, institutional, and utility clients.
