Job summary

Nokia is seeking a senior ASIC verification professional to drive the validation and characterization plan for advanced baseband hardware. The role involves developing validation tests on ZeBu emulation platforms ahead of ASIC prototypes and updating the validation environment with targeted automation.

You will collaborate with design and verification teams to review test scenarios, provide debugging support, and assist with HW/SW bring-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years of work experience in verification and lab validation of ASICs.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Python preferred.
• Experience in leading a small team for technical work.
• Familiarity with the Traffic generator.
• Familiarity with Ethernet and OTN standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop ASIC validation and characterization plan.
• Development of validation tests on ZeBu emulator prior to ASIC prototype arrival.
• Validation environment updates and automation where possible.
• Work with design & verification team to review test scenarios and debug support.
• Supporting HW/SW bring-up and debug.
• Working with the x-functional teams to debug any issues at the product level.
