Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a senior engineer for functional validation focused on PCI Express and NVMe. The role involves pre-silicon and post-silicon validation of NVMe flash controllers, developing embedded software and drivers, and validating across hardware and OS environments.

You will characterize NAND memory, analyze large datasets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive performance improvements. Strong C, Python, and TCL skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in CS, CE or EE.
• 7.5+ years for Senior II, 5+ years for Senior I will be considered.
• Experience with embedded firmware coding and debugging for NAND flash validation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, code, and execute pre-silicon and post-silicon validation plans.
• Build and support validation infrastructure through embedded software, drivers, and test tools.
• Characterize NAND Flash memory devices across operating conditions and workloads.
• Analyze data, generate reports with graphs and charts, and present findings.
