Job summary

RTX, the aerospace and defense leader, seeks a Senior Electrical or Computer Engineer to design, verify, and optimize high-performance ASIC/FPGA testbenches and signal processing tech. You will work with a collaborative Microelectronics Technology team on advanced verification methods.

The role requires experience with RTL, SystemVerilog, and Linux environments, plus an active DoD clearance and U.S. citizenship. On-site in Cedar Rapids, with competitive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• STEM degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance required before start.
• U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility.
• ASIC/FPGA RTL coding, simulation, and verification experience with VHDL/Verilog.

Responsibilities

• Design and verify verification environment architecture using SystemVerilog with OVM/UVM.
• Develop test plans, test cases, code coverage, and functional coverage; create testbenches.
• Contribute to engineering estimates for new programs.
• Provide technical leadership for verification teams and plan activities.
