Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in Austin, Texas is seeking an ASIC Engineer to define, model, design (digital and/or analog), optimize, verify, validate, implement and document IP for high-performance, low-power products.

You will collaborate with software and hardware teams to determine the execution path and ensure customer needs are met, leveraging strong ASIC design/verification, architecture, and scripting skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 2+ years ASIC design/verification experience.
Master's degree with 1+ year ASIC design/verification experience.
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

Defines, models, designs (digital/analog) ASIC/IP for high-performance, low-power products.
Creates architectures, circuit specs, logic designs, and simulations based on system requirements.
Collaborates with software/hardware teams to meet system requirements and customer needs.
Evaluates process Flow from high-level design to synthesis, place-and-route, timing/power usage, verification.
Uses tools (RTL to GDS Flow, Virtuoso) to enable architecture and design of IP/SoC or IC package.
Writes detailed technical documentation for EDA/IP/ASIC projects.
