Job summary

Gastroenterology Associates of Tidewater is seeking an experienced ASC Manager to lead the daily operations of the ambulatory surgery center and endoscopy unit. This leadership role oversees staff, schedules, compliance, and quality initiatives to ensure top-tier patient care and safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate brings healthcare leadership, strong operational and personnel management skills, and a commitment to excellence in patient outcomes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current RN license.
• ACLS certification required.
• Leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience in gastrointestinal endoscopy or an ambulatory surgery center preferred.
• Knowledge of AAAHC, Medicare, and regulatory requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the ASC and endoscopy unit.
• Ensure safe, efficient, high-quality patient care.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and evaluations.
• Coach, counsel, and take corrective action when needed.
• Develop and enforce policies to support operations.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and participate in CQI activities.
