Job summary

UOVO in San Francisco, CA is hiring an Operations Manager to lead the South San Francisco team responsible for art handling and logistics. The role oversees crates, storage, and facilities operations, ensuring safety, accuracy and exceptional client service.

Masonry details include managing staff performance, coordinating with account management, and maintaining NetSuite documentation and reporting. In-person five days a week with occasional nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated effective people management experience.
• 7+ years warehouse, project management and/or logistics experience.
• Experience interacting with art professionals.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and collection management databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and mentor a team of art handlers daily; develop training curriculum.
• Manage fabrication schedule of crates; ensure client satisfaction, safety and quality.
• Oversee storage handling including racking, forklift training, OSHA compliance, inventory.
• Schedule service work with Account Management; coordinate Warehouse and Transportation teams.
• Complete paperwork: Warehouse Receipts, BOLs, and inventory audits.
• Prepare estimates; provide site feedback; conduct on-site supervision as needed.
