Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support Army Sustainment Command in a complex DoD environment. You will develop and review logistics requirements, coordinate with government staff, and provide analytical reporting on procurement and performance metrics.

The role requires an Active DoD Secret Clearance, US citizenship, and the ability to travel up to 10%. Onsite work five days a week is expected in a CONUS/OCONUS setting.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years logistics/Army acquisition experience or High School Diploma with 10 years logistics/Army acquisition experience.
• 5 years pre-award procurement experience (requirements analysis, revisions to PWS, procurement/planning, and tracking).
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets and screen for completeness/accuracy.
• Provide recommendations to Branch Chief and/or requiring activity.
• Provide status reports to Government on all requirements and schedules.
• Provide technical assistance and briefings to customers and Government staff.
• Review contractor estimates/proposals for PPRs and change proposals.
• Monitor theater logistical priorities through daily operations and meetings.
• Maintain liaison with requiring activities, performance contractors, contracting officials and program staff.
• Analyze contractor workload and project future quarterly workload projections.
• Prepare monitoring reports, briefings, and information papers on schedules, metrics, and COPs.
