Job summary

Clinton High School seeks a dedicated Senior Army Instructor (SAI) to lead the Army JROTC program, serving as senior military instructor and department head, planning and managing curriculum, leadership development activities, and cadet operations in line with Army Cadet Command guidance.

The SAI mentors students, fosters citizenship and academic excellence, builds partnerships with parents and veteran groups, and represents the program at school and community events while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

Retired or current member of the US Army with qualifying rank and service; meets Army regulations.
Eligible and certified (or able to obtain certification) as Senior Army Instructor through Cadet Command.
Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

Program leadership and administration in compliance with Army regulations and district policies.
Instruction and curriculum delivery including drill, ceremonies, and field activities.
Cadet leadership development and monitoring of academic progress.
Supervise cadet extracurricular activities.
Build partnerships with parents, community organizations, veterans groups, and civic leaders.
Represent the JROTC program at community, school and district events.
Support student recruitment and retention efforts.
