Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC seeks an Armory Work Center Maintenance Manager II in Virginia Beach, VA. This role requires a Secret clearance and deep knowledge of NSW/SOCOM weapons, CWS and related hardware.

You will oversee repairs, inventory, and coordination of parts, while ensuring security and safety standards are met. You will supervise Maintenance Customer Service staff, manage DD 1149 documents, and travel CONUS/OCONUS for training and assessments, with a minimum of 3+ years in

Qualifications

• Must meet Lautenberg Amendment (Gun Control Act of 1968) requirements.
• Must be prepared to complete the Naval Special Warfare Enhanced Organizational Level Armorer Course upon soonest available opening.
• Must be able to lift items up to 75 lbs.
• 3+ years’ experience repairing small arms.

Responsibilities

• Have thorough knowledge of the principles of operation, disassembly/reassembly procedures and troubleshooting of NSW and SOCOM specific weapons, Visual Augmentation Systems (VAS) and weapon accessories from here to be referred to as Combat Weapons Systems (CWS).
• Conducts assessments and required repairs to all CWS to include depot-level repairs to applicable systems.
• Assists in CWS inventory, storage, receipt, issue, and movements to meet all security and safety regulations.
• Manages the procurement, receipt and issue of all parts and generates repair parts usage reports to update the ELMS/DPAS database.
• Provide direct supervisory oversight of arts and Maintenance Customer Service Representative.
• Manages initial request, turn-in, and issue documents (DD Form 1149) of required ancillary gear to support team personnel and SEALS. Receives and coordinates the inventory and inspection of post-deployment return of all weapons accessories (ancillary) gear and help to determine the serviceability of received ancillary equipment for re-issue.
• Travel as required CONUS and OCONUS for new equipment training, armory related conferences, and as assessment contact team member.
