Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC seeks an Armory Work Center Maintenance Manager II with Secret clearance to oversee maintenance and repair of Combat Weapons Systems, including NSW/SOCOM weapons and Visual Augmentation Systems. The role requires depot-level repairs, inventory control, and adherence to security procedures.

The candidate will supervise staff, manage parts procurement, and coordinate training and travel for CONUS/OCONUS engagements, while ensuring compliance with Lautenberg

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of operation, disassembly/reassembly, and troubleshooting of NSW and SOCOM weapons and Combat Weapons Systems (CWS).
• 3+ years’ experience repairing small arms.
• Must meet Lautenberg Amendment requirements.
• Must complete Naval Special Warfare Enhanced Organizational Level Armorer Course when available.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Travel CONUS and OCONUS for training and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement, receipt, and issue of parts; generate repair parts usage reports for ELMS/DPAS.

Job description

Armory Work Center Maintenance Manager II Clearance Type: Secret

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Have thorough knowledge of the principles of operation, disassembly/reassembly procedures and troubleshooting of NSW and SOCOM specific weapons, Visual Augmentation Systems (VAS) and weapon accessories from here to be referred to as Combat Weapons Systems (CWS).
• Conducts assessments and required repairs to all CWS to include depot-level repairs to applicable systems.
• Assists in CWS inventory, storage, receipt, issue, and movements to meet all security and safety regulations.
• Manages the procurement, receipt and issue of all parts and generates repair parts usage reports to update the ELMS/DPAS database.
• Provide direct supervisory oversight of arts and Maintenance Customer Service Representative.
• Manages initial request, turn-in, and issue documents (DD Form 1149) of required ancillary gear to support team personnel and SEALS. Receives and coordinates the inventory and inspection of post-deployment return of all weapons accessories (ancillary) gear and help to determine the serviceability of received ancillary equipment for re-issue.
• Travel as required CONUS and OCONUS for new equipment training, armory related conferences, and as assessment contact team member.
• Must meet Lautenberg Amendment (Gun Control Act of 1968) requirements.
• Must be prepared to complete the Naval Special Warfare Enhanced Organizational Level Armorer Course upon soonest available opening.
• Must be able to lift items up to 75 lbs.
