People Technology And Processes is seeking an Assistant Armorer in Virginia Beach, VA 23459 to maintain and repair Combat Weapons Systems (CWS) used by NSW/SOCOM. The role requires clearance and adherence to security protocols.

The successful candidate will assist in assessments, perform depot-level repairs as needed, and help manage CWS inventory and movements while complying with all safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Must meet Lautenberg Amendment (Gun Control Act of 1968) requirements.
  • Must be prepared to complete the Naval Special Warfare Enhanced Organizational Level Armorer Course upon soonest available opening.
  • Must be able to lift items up to 75 lbs.
  • 3+ years’ experience repairing small arms.

Responsibilities
  • Have thorough knowledge of the principles of operation, disassembly/reassembly procedures and troubleshooting of NSW and SOCOM specific weapons, Visual Augmentation Systems (VAS) and weapon accessories from here to be referred to as Combat Weapons Systems (CWS).
  • Assist with conducting assessments and required repairs to all CWS to include depot-level repairs to applicable systems.
  • Assists in CWS inventory, storage, receipt, issue, and movements to meet all security and safety regulations.
