Job summary

Legends Global seeks an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations for Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, including Events, Operations, Guest Services, Box Office, and Security. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and first‑class service for staff, clients, and guests.

You will lead a multi‑departmental team, participate in executive discussions, manage budgets, and coordinate with city agencies and promoters to deliver successful events.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Facility Management or Sports Management.
• 10–15 years in managerial capacity in facility arena operations and event production.

Responsibilities

• Participate in executive decision-making for all event operations.
• Oversee security, safety, guest services, box office daily operations.
• Manage budgets and annual capital/operational plans.
• Coordinate with promoters, city agencies, and union representatives.
• Supervise department heads and staff with hiring, reviews, and objective setting.
• Develop and monitor vendor contracts and outsourced services.
