Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, including Events, Operations, Guest Services, Box Office and Security. You will ensure safe, secure, and superior guest experiences while coordinating with multiple departments and external partners.

The role requires 10–15 years in arena operations management, strong leadership, budgeting, and the ability to manage union-related activities in a fast-paced venue environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Facility Management, Sports Management or related field.
• 10–15 years in managerial capacity in facility arena operations and event production.

Responsibilities

• Participates in Executive team decisions on event operations.
• Oversees security, safety and enjoyment for clients, guests and employees.
• Prepares bids and contracts with vendors for outsourced operations.
• Develops operational and capital budgets and monitors expenses.
• Maintains relationships with promoters, tour managers and agencies.
• Acts as Manager on Duty for arena events.
