Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations of Events, Operations, Guest Services, Box Office and Security at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Lead multiple departments to ensure safety, efficiency and exceptional guest experiences during events.

You will drive budgets, vendor contracts, security programs and maintain strong relationships with promoters, city agencies and unions as part of the arena’s executive team.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Facility Management or related field.
• 10–15 years in managerial capacity in facility operations or event production.
• Proven leadership and ability to coach and mentor a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Events, Operations, Guest Services, Box Office and Security.
• Supervise department heads, hiring, performance reviews, and staff development.
• Develop and monitor budgets, bids, vendor contracts and capital expenditures.
• Liaise with promoters, tour managers, city agencies and ownership.
• Ensure safety protocols and union compliance are followed.
