Western New York Arena, LLC seeks a skilled Chief Engineer to operate, maintain, and repair the facility's mechanical and electrical systems across venues such as KeyBank Center and LECOM Harbor Center. Qualifications

• Technical or vocational electrical school diploma is required. College degree preferred.
• Valid Chief Stationary Engineer License issued by the City of Buffalo, New York is required.
• Five (5) years working as a stationary engineer with centrifugal chiller experience is required.
• Thorough knowledge of operation, repair and maintenance of low-pressure boilers, pumps, HVAC and other equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and wiring diagrams required.
• Working knowledge of computerized building automation systems.
• Ammonia refrigeration maintenance and operation experience are preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must be able to use hand tools, power tools, and climb ladders.

• Operate, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
• Schedule, manage, and train full-time and part-time stationary engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational problems of the physical plant.
• Comply with local, state, and federal codes as well as NHL regulations.
• Inventory equipment and supplies.
• Maintain energy efficient operation of the physical plant.
• Create and promote a safe work environment.
• Inform/Coordinate/Communicate with Supervisor as necessary.
