Job summary

Messer Americas in Houston, TX, is seeking an experienced engineer to lead capital projects and provide technical project management across manufacturing plants. You will develop project scopes, budgets, and documentation, coordinating internal teams and external consultants to meet safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience in manufacturing and industrial gas supply is preferred.
• Strong project leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of projects in the assigned area.
• Provide engineering and project management support to Messer plants for new capital projects, expansions and equipment modifications.
• Lead development of project documentation including drawings, risk assessments, PSSR and commissioning procedures.
• Coordinate outsourced engineering and interface with EPC contractors.
• Support sales at customer meetings as technical representative and lead solution implementations.
• Identify GAP/HPO opportunities and drive cost savings and productivity gains.
