Job summary

Messer is seeking a Senior Project Manager in the Houston area to lead capital projects and deliver engineering support for active plants. You will drive productivity through GAP/HPO initiatives, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with standards and procedures.

With a Bachelor's in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and 10+ years in manufacturing, you will coordinate with consultants, interface with Sales, and travel 25-40% including Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience with 7+ years in project management.
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical abilities; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and project management support to Messer plants for capital projects and modifications.
• Lead GAP/HPO initiatives and productivity gains with regional alignment.
• Manage project budgets, schedules and documentation, including risk assessments and PSSR.
• Coordinate with consultants and EPC contractors; support sales at client meetings.
