Job summary

Messer Americas seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple capital projects, including new plant work, upgrades, and retrofits. You will direct multi-disciplinary teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across projects in the electronics/related sectors.

Responsibilities include coordinating design, PDES implementation, vendor bidding, and timely project closeout, while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and plant management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant discipline.
• 5 years’ experience in the implementation of capital projects, ideally in electronics/semiconductor.
• Ability to travel up to 50% (100 nights/year).

Responsibilities

• Oversee proposal development and project execution for major electronics capital projects.
• Manage all project activities through the cycle; typically up to 10,000,000 USD CAPEX.
• Develop schedules and budgets, prepare monthly status reports, oversee construction and commissioning.
• Qualify vendors, negotiate pricing and bidding with Procurement.
• Ensure safety, scope, schedule, and budget compliance; deliver project documentation.
