Job summary

You will direct STOMs and operations leaders, drive strategic growth, and ensure smooth startup of new contracts. Regular travel and a strong focus on accountability are required for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; five years of progressively responsible student transportation or operations experience.
• At least three years in an operational leadership or supervisory role.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, operations, transportation, management, or related field is preferred and may substitute for up to two years.
• Experience in safety/training, fleet or maintenance operations, dispatch, or pupil transportation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead STOMs and other operational leaders across locations to drive performance.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction across contracts.
• Drive financial performance via budgets, payroll, operating plans, variances, and contractual obligations.
• Develop leadership capability and ensure accountability through coaching and feedback.
• Plan startup and expansion of new contracts and operating locations.
• Coordinate cross-functional work with HR, Safety, Finance, Maintenance, and Training.
