Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking an Area Director, Human Resources III to deliver strategic HR leadership across multiple sites. The role partners with executives, COEs, and field leaders to implement comprehensive HR programs, plans, and policies while ensuring compliance and business alignment.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of progressive HR Generalist/HR Business Partner experience in a multi-unit environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills across all levels.
• Solid knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR support and act as HR business partner to managers and associates.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and engagement initiatives across regions.
• Drive talent management, leadership development, and performance coaching.
• Collaborate on compensation, benefits, and annual incentive programs with COEs.
• Advise on associate relations, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation.
• Support training, change management, and enterprise HR projects.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field

Master’s degree in IO Psychology or HRM (preferred)
