Job summary

IMC Architecture is seeking a senior architect to lead design development and production of construction documents for multi-family, educational and commercial projects in NYC.

Responsibilities include site surveying, planning, coordinating drawings, construction administration, and direct client interaction; candidates should manage teams and ensure NYC codes compliance. Strong Revit skills and 8–15 years of experience are preferred. We offer competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• 8-15 years of professional experience in an architectural office.
• Knowledge of construction materials, details, and methods.
• Understand NYC codes and zoning; relevant NYC experience.
• Proficiency in Revit; experience with multifamily and educational typologies a plus.

Responsibilities

• Site surveying, planning, producing design development and construction documents.
• Construction administration, site meetings, and direct client interaction.
• Manage the shop drawing review process and coordinate documents with clients.
• Motivate and inspire team members throughout the project.
