Job summary

IMC Architecture, a boutique firm in New York City, is seeking a talented architect to grow our practice. Responsibilities include site surveying, planning, and producing design development and construction documents for multi-family residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

You will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Project Architect, coordinate full drawing sets, prepare specifications, and participate in site meetings and client interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 2–4 years of professional architecture office experience.
• Proficiency in Revit and English-language communication.

Responsibilities

• Site surveying and planning for projects.

our practice. Our work includes ground-up and renovation of medium to large-scale multi-family residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
Responsibilities will include site surveying, planning, production of design development and construction documents, construction administration, site
meetings, and direct client interaction. Candidates must be self-motivated,

reliable, and able to collaborate in all aspects of a project.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 2-4 years of professional experience in an architectural office.
• Perform design and drafting of production of design drawings.
• Excellent collaborator and team player with strong communication, improvisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Interface with the Project Manager and Project Architect as well as other Architectural team members.
• Coordinate full drawing sets and prepare construction specifications.
• Motivated to quickly learn and improve as a professional, including developing expertise in both design and technical aspects of architecture.
• Understand NYC codes and zoning.
• Motivate and inspire team members throughout the project.
• Professional architectural degree.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Excellent English-language communication and client-interface skills.
