Arch Recruiting is seeking an Architectural Project Manager to lead ground-up multifamily projects in New York City from concept through construction. The role is approx.

75% project management and 25% technical work, with ownership of projects and leadership in client meetings. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies, oversee DOB filings and permitting, and ensure quality across all deliverables.

Qualifications

• Ground-up multifamily development project experience in NYC.
• Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead client meetings and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project.
• Lead projects from concept through construction while managing scope, budget, schedule, deliverables, and quality.
• Coordinate project teams, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Manage NYC DOB filings, permitting, and project requirements.
• Review construction documents and provide technical oversight and quality control.
• Coordinate responses to plan review comments and project changes.
• Oversee construction administration, including site visits, RFIs, submittals, substitution requests, and contractor coordination.
• Perform technical work and production as needed, with support from additional drafters.
• Manage approximately three projects at a time depending on size and complexity.

Architectural Project Manager

Arch Recruiting is seeking an Architectural Project Manager to lead ground-up multifamily projects in New York City from concept through construction. This role is approximately 75% project management and 25% technical work. The Project Manager will take ownership of projects, lead client meetings, and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept through construction while managing scope, budget, schedule, deliverables, and quality.

• Coordinate project teams, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

• Manage NYC DOB filings, permitting, and project requirements.

• Oversee construction administration, including site visits, RFIs, submittals, substitution requests, and contractor coordination.

• Manage approximately three projects at a time depending on size and complexity. Projects may range from approximately 10 to 500 units. Larger developments may require dedicated focus on a single project.

Qualifications

• Experience managing ground up multifamily development projects in New York City, with projects ranging from 10 to 500 units preferred.

• Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and effectively coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

• Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, construction methods, building codes, and accessibility requirements.

• Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and project management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent professional experience.

• Architectural licensure or progress toward licensure is a plus.

Schedule & Benefits

• Compensation: $75,000 - 105,000

• Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, in office

  • Fridays wrap up at 2:00 p.m.

• Paid Time Off

  • 40 hours PTO

  • 40 hours paid sick time

  • Approximately 120–140 hours of paid holidays
