Job summary

McMillan Pazdan Smith is seeking a Project Manager to join our Spartanburg studio. The role involves leading large and small projects, coordinating with engineers, consultants, and clients, and driving strategic direction for the practice.

The candidate should have a professional architecture degree from an NAAB-accredited program with 10+ years of experience, and strong skills in Revit, Newforma, and project coordination. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program.
• Ability to provide business development for the firm within the practice area.
• 10+ years combined experience as a design professional and/or architect.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit.
• Firm grasp of building technology fundamentals.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant codes, operations, processes, and trends.
• Excellent time management, organizational and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in marketing and business development processes; create and monitor plans.
• Prepare strategic plans for practice success and establish a vision for the market practice.
• Represent Firm at professional and trade organizations.
• Ensure practice aligns with strategic plans and directions.
• Foster learning, collaboration, innovation, and communication within the team.
• Manage budgets, schedules, programs, and client communications across projects.
• Oversee design decisions, materials, and coordination with engineers/consultants/contractors.
