Job summary

Brigham Young University is seeking a senior architectural leader to manage in-house construction projects from programming through completion. You will oversee design, documentation, and field administration, ensuring compliance with BYU standards, budgets, and schedules.

The role requires a architecture degree, a minimum of ten years in an architectural setting, and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program, or equivalent education and experience.
Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in an architectural office or institutional facilities planning environment.
Five (5) years of professional experience using Autodesk Revit, Autodesk AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary project manager and architectural lead for assigned in-house construction projects.
Lead Design Project Manager and/or Architect of Record on select contract projects
Serve as the University’s architectural representative for assigned projects designed by outside consultants.
Architectural Review & Sealing – review and seal projects requiring an architectural seal.
Maintain knowledge and involvement to provide professional oversight and direction.
