Job summary

Avion Solutions Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks an Architecture Engineer to support an Army Aviation Capability Program Executive. You will lead architecture activities, perform MBSE reviews, and work with OEMs to ensure system integrity and safety.

Responsibilities include briefing leaders, coordinating with vendors, and supporting Milestone B/C decisions. A strong background in aerospace engineering and DoD standards is required, with travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace systems engineering and MBSE processes.
• Ability to lead technical meetings with OEMs and contractors.
• Strong communication and problem-solving for system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Present technical briefings, support trade studies, and provide engineering support for weapon systems and subsystems.
• Use MBSE environments for CDRL reviews, including requirements and interface design.
• Support air vehicle development activities and milestone documentation.
• Plan architecture activities, reviews, validation, verification, and testing with OEMs.
• Support mission systems engineering from preliminary to detailed design.
• Coordinate MBSE Architecture IPT activities and OEM collaboration.
• Ensure Weapon System architecture meets FAF requirements.
• Ensure data rights assertions align with contract requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
