Job summary

Desco Professional Builders is seeking an organized Architectural Millwork Project Manager to oversee projects in DescoWood, our in-house millwork division. You will manage projects from initial review through fabrication, delivery, installation, and closeout.

The ideal candidate understands custom millwork construction, communicates effectively with shop and field personnel, and can manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

• Previous PM experience in architectural millwork or commercial interiors.
• Strong knowledge of millwork fabrication, finishes, and installation.
• Ability to read architectural plans and shop drawings.
• Familiarity with AWI standards and project change orders.
• Proficient in MS Office and construction PM software.
• Willingness to visit project sites as needed.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from start to finish as the primary coordinator.
• Review drawings, specs, contracts to identify requirements.
• Coordinate shop drawings, data, submittals, and RFIs.
• Oversee execution per AWI standards and quality.
• Plan fabrication with millwork shop and suppliers.
• Coordinate field measurements and site condition verification.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with milestones.
• Track costs, labor, materials, and change orders.
• Coordinate installation crews and subcontractors; resolve issues.
• Support safety practices on site and in shop.
• Attend meetings and provide updates on schedules and costs.
• Manage punch lists and project closeout documentation.
