Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a senior Field Engineering Lead for the API manufacturing facility project in Houston, TX. You will supervise Architectural Field Engineers, manage work packaging, material tracking, and subcontractor coordination while aligning with design intent and project requirements.

The role requires leading cross-disciplinary teams, ensuring safety, quality control, and turnover readiness, and collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
• Thorough knowledge of architectural plans, elevations, specifications, codes and standards, construction methods and materials.
• Ability to lead Field Engineers, coordinate workloads, review technical deliverables and coach team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the work of Architectural Field Engineers, establish priorities, distribute assignments and provide technical direction.
• Oversee preparation and review of construction drawings, field instructions and architectural construction methods and procedures.
• Coordinate work planning, material management, quantity takeoffs, subcontractor coordination and turnover documentation.
• Ensure safety and quality requirements and support turnaround readiness.
