Job summary

Latitude Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Draftsman for a fully onsite role in the Greater Orlando area.

The role focuses on producing permit-ready construction documents for single-family, townhome, and condo projects, while coordinating with engineers and builders in a fast-paced design studio environment. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of drafting experience, strong CAD/BIM skills, and solid knowledge of residential codes.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of architectural drafting experience, preferably in residential production-home environment.
• Experience producing Construction Documents from concept through permit-ready sets.
• Familiarity with residential building codes and construction documentation standards.
• Proficiency with CAD/BIM software and Microsoft Office.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Drafting, Construction, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality, permit-ready Construction Documents for residential projects.
• Interpret and implement redlines from architects, PMs, engineers, and builder clients.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, truss manufacturers, and MEP consultants to integrate drawings into CD sets.
• Review drawings for quality, constructability, and consistency.
• Prepare and update permit-ready plan sets and respond to building department comments.
• Provide drafting support during construction for field revisions and changes.
