Job description

• Define architectural vision and solutions supporting strategic business product and service outcomes
• Define target operating environments and non-functional requirements
• Design for client resiliency and assist with solution design
• Work with stakeholders and service providers on strategic objectives
• Evaluate strategic design decisions and contribute to architecture roadmaps
• Create solution intent and architectural vision for complex solutions
• Prioritize functional and non-functional requirements into technology backlogs
• Create architecture roadmaps, best practices, and standardized templates
• Clarify architecture and assist with system design and implementation
• Lead complex architecture design discussions and develop solution options
• Educate team members on technology practices, standardization strategies, and best practices
• Select technology stacks and preferred technology products
• Perform design and code reviews
• Lead architecture for enterprise midrange storage, including File/NAS, Block, Object, and Data Protection and Backup services
• Create storage blueprints, reference architectures, technology standards, strategic roadmaps, and product lifecycle strategies
• Define future-state architectures and transition plans
• Evaluate emerging technologies, market trends, and vendor roadmaps
• Define service capabilities, offerings, operational requirements, and customer adoption strategies with Product Managers
• Collaborate with Vendor Managers and technology partners
• Provide architecture governance and design reviews
• Support capacity, scalability, performance, data protection, cyber resiliency, and disaster recovery initiatives
• Present architecture recommendations to senior leadership, engineering, risk, and project stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, storage engineering, or storage architecture
• 5+ years of experience designing and architecting enterprise storage solutions
• Deep expertise in NetApp ONTAP, Dell PowerMax, Hitachi HCP, NetApp StorageGRID, Cohesity, and NetBackup
• Strong understanding of NFS, SMB, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NVMe/TCP, S3, and backup and recovery architectures
• Experience developing technology roadmaps and strategic infrastructure plans
• Experience producing architecture documentation, blueprints, and design standards
• Proven ability to lead complex infrastructure architecture initiatives across multiple teams
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• 40 hours per week
• 1st shift (United States of America)
