Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Principal Architect, Solution Engineering and Automation to design end-to-end architectures for complex PBM initiatives, build a technology incubation function, and partner with business and IT leaders to deliver high-impact solutions that improve patient outcomes.

In this role you will lead modernization efforts, develop reference architectures for cloud-native PBM apps, guide AppDev and EA teams, and mentor junior architects while leveraging AI/ML, automation, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years in overall design/development experience including cloud-based architectures
• 7+ years hands-on cloud experience (GCP with Azure/AWS familiarity)
• Proficiency in Enterprise Level Platform Service and Integration
• Expertise in Domain Driven Architecture and Microservices, modernization
• Experience with SDLC, Observability, and automation/RPA

Responsibilities

• Provide technology leadership and solution oversight ensuring architecture adheres to guiding principles
• Lead modernization opportunities for PBM technology and IT landscapes
• Develop reference architecture for cloud-native PBM apps and guide teams
• Advise App Dev and EA teams on technical roadblocks and performance issues
• Develop and maintain forward-looking technology roadmaps
• Mentor junior architects and engineers
• Collaborate with product, business, and partners to drive innovation
• Present capabilities to executives with demos and prototypes
