Job summary

Jobtailor in Florida seeks an experienced Architect to provide architectural and consulting services across a broad range of projects, including field investigations, analysis, design development, and reporting. You will lead technical reviews, evaluate plans, and communicate complex concepts to clients and project teams.

The role requires 8–11 years of experience, a Bachelor's in Architecture, and licensure readiness; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent applicable to licensure.
8–11 years of experience.
Master’s degree in Architecture preferred.
Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status required.
Valid driver’s license may be required.
Certifications: RRC, RWC, LEED AP.

Responsibilities

Provide architectural and consulting services for a broad array of projects and clients.
This may include field investigations, architectural/engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations, design and development of plans and specifications, observation and inspection, and the writing, preparation, and review of related reports.
Review drawings and construction to assure compliance with plans and specifications.
Prepare proposals and cost estimates, track and evaluate project progress, budgets, and recommend changes.
Research and resolve design and construction problems.
Assign, review, and evaluate laboratory or field data for inclusion in reports.
Apply sound architectural/engineering principles and communicate complex issues to clients and project teams.
Services may be provided for existing or proposed projects in the commercial, retail, multi-family, hotel, senior living, industrial and/or governmental sectors.
