Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Architect to lead and manage architectural projects in our Dallas studio. You will direct design development through construction documents, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor's and/or Master's in Architecture, 10+ years across all project phases, an active Texas architecture license, and proficiency in Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• 10+ years of experience across all phases of architectural projects.
• Active architecture license in Texas.
• Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design tools.
• Deep understanding of building codes, construction techniques, and architectural detailing.
• Ability to work in a local studio three times per week.
• Employment eligibility verification through E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and execute project documentation and contract administration across all phases of assigned projects.
• Direct technical project delivery from concept design through construction with multidisciplinary designers and engineers.
• Collaborate with the Project Designer and Project Manager to realize design visions.
• Oversee schematic design, design development, and construction-document preparation.
• Conduct quality-control reviews and research appropriate products, materials, and construction methods.
• Lead construction administration and resolve design intent on-site.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, regulatory authorities, and internal team members.
• Mentor junior staff through knowledge-sharing, training, and ongoing support.
